Parking

As part of the upgrade emphasis has been put on
making parking easier and more accessible.

This has been achieved by sealing all the main roads and completed car park areas. All car spaces are clearly lined and identified.

Please note there are three dedicated reserved car park places clearly identified. These spaces are reserved for permit holders and service vehicles only. Please do not park in these spaces at any time.

There are two gates into the facility. Gate 1 is the main entrance for the restaurant and general area and gate 2 is for the overflow car park and building site. Gate 2 will eventually service the new reception centre.

There are currently 60 car places available in the finished sealed area leading up to the restaurant from gate 1 which incorporates the following areas:

Bottom Car Park 

This car park holds 26 vehicles is fully sealed and car park bays are clearly identified including 4 dedicated motor cycle Bays. (accessed from Gate 1)

Roadway Car Park

This parking area is on the main road up to the cafe and there are 16 car park places clearly identified on the left hand side. (accessed from Gate 1)

Top Car Park

This parking area is fully sealed and incorporates 2 dedicated Acrod spaces as well as 3 spots dedicated as elderly parking, it is ideal for persons with mobility issues or as a drop of point. There is a dedicated wheelchair access ramp from this car park to the restaurant. There are 5 other general use bays. (accessed from Gate 1)

There is no public vehicular access to the house or French Gardens,
this area is restricted for staff parking


Overflow Car park

This car park is located at the back of the restaurant and can be accessed from Gate 1 or 2. This car park is semi sealed using reconstituted bitumen as a temporary measure during construction. This area can hold up to 30 vehicles and gives easy
access to the restaurant.

Please note, that due to the high volume of customers that use our facility we respectfully ask that cyclists do not use the car park as a park and ride facility.

For security and safety reasons car parks are monitored using 24 hour CCTV
